Academic entrepreneurship: an oxymoron?
Academics and their students* are not born entrepreneurs. They work on gaps in knowledge, find answers and solutions, teach, present at conferences, publish, patent, and collaborate with other academics and industry to do even more. From applying for grants to attracting talent to our labs, we need to “create” and “sell” every day. How can we do our best? How can we pick among paths and projects? Join us to get some answers and perhaps mostly new questions “you” will need to find “your” answers for. Most of what we talk about will be equally relevant to those interested in building value from outside the walls of university campuses.
