Biography

Dr. Nasrin Golzadeh completed a B.Sc. degree in “Industrial Chemistry”. She worked in different positions in the energy sector for 6 years including being a “Research and Development Coordinator”, where she was responsible for liaising between the oil industry and academic researchers to identify company-specific issues by developing research questions and selecting the best applicants to conduct the research. She later developed an interest in MBA and decided to pursue a degree in that field. Nasrin got her master’s degree in “Environmental Sciences” from Université du Québec À Montréal in 2014. She completed her Ph.D. program from McGill University in “Environmental Sciences with a focus on Toxicology, conducting a community-led research with a First Nation community in Alberta, Canada”. Having worked in both academic and industrial settings for 12+ years in the energy sector and environmental sciences, she will make a significant contribution to building relationships and fostering research among various stakeholders
