Biography
Marit received a B.Sc. (biology) from McGill University in 2006, and a master’s in journalism from Ryerson University in 2009. She is the senior communications officer with The Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at University of Toronto. Her science, technology and engineering writing has appeared in The Globe and Mail, Reader’s Digest, Maisonneuve Magazine, msn.ca, Discovery Channel and more. This is her first role with the IEEE Toronto Section. Marit likes to read, ski and swim.
