Biography
Durand Jarrett-Amor is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Toronto, where he is currently conducting research on high-speed, pin- and power-efficient CMOS wireline communication in dense interconnects under the supervision of Professor Anthony Chan Carusone with financial support from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). Durand received the B.Sc. degree in honours physics with a minor in pure mathematics in 2009 from the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada, and the B.Eng (honours) and M.A.Sc degrees in electrical engineering from Ryerson University, Toronto, ON, Canada, in 2015 and 2017, respectively. His current research interests include CMOS analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, with a focus on high-speed digital communication, and nonlinear circuit theory.
