This workshop combines lectures with hands-on practice in silicon integrated photonics design and offers the opportunity for chip fabrication in a foundry. This highly successful training program has been running for more than a decade. The instructors this year include Profs. Lukas Chrostowski (UBC), Wei Shi (Laval), Joyce Poon (U of T), David Plant (McGill), Bhavin Shastri (Queen’s), Sudip Shekhar (UBC), and Milos Popovic (Boston University), as well as engineers from CMC Microsystems and professionals from industry.
