Biography: David Short holds the position of Director, Power System Assessments for the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). In this role, his teams are responsible for managing power system changes within the IESO, operational analysis, and engineering studies that define our system models and operating orders. Mr. Short has over 25 years of industry experience in Ontario and British Columbia. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Electrical Engineering) from Queen’s University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario. He also holds the Certificate of Authorization for engineering services at the IESO.
