Xue Teng received the B.E. degree in Chemistry from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, and Ph. D in Biomedical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. She received master’s degree in computer engineering from York University. She is currently a Postdoctoral Visitor at York University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Dr Teng’s research is focused on perception in shared reality. It’s an emerging area in the intersection of human computer interaction and virtual environments. Dr Teng has authored more than 20 publications in top tier venues.
