Biography

Vasily Grigorovsky is a PhD Candidate at the University of Toronto working in the field of neural engineering. His research focus is using techniques from computational mathematics to try to elucidate underlying causes and mechanisms of epileptic seizures. In addition to his research work, Vasily is working towards his P.Eng designation and has several years of mathematical finance experience, specializing in derivative valuations. In his free time, he volunteers with the Biomedical Engineering Student Association at UofT in the capacity of Professional Development Director as well as providing mentorship to students interested in biomedical engineering.
