Dr. Reza Dibaj holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Tehran Azad University and an M.Sc. degree in Information Technology – Computer Networks from Tehran Polytechnic University. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ryerson University, and his dissertation area was Sustainable Service Pricing in Cloud Ecosystems. Dr. Reza has journal and conference publications on Cloud Computing, Microeconomy, IoT, and Smart Cities. Moreover, he is an active reviewer for various journals and conferences.
Dr. Reza’s research interests are Machine Learning, Deep Neural Networks, and Data Science in general. Furthermore, he has an extensive research background in Cloud Computing, IoT, and Smart Cities.
Dr. Reza has seven-year solid industry experience as a Senior Expert IT Developer and System Analyst and 12+ years of experience as a University and College Instructor in Computer Science and Computer Engineering Departments. He has successfully taught several core Computer Science courses, including Data Science, Data Structure, Databases, Project Management, Software Analysis and Design, Object-Oriented Programming, and Advanced Web Application Development (ASP.NET Core).
Dr. Reza received an Appreciation of Service Award – IEEE Toronto Section (2020) in recognition of leadership and dedication and a Certificate of Volunteer Appreciation – IEEE Canada (2017) for his leadership and service.
