Biography

Dr Peng Dai is a Staff Scientist with Huawei Technologies Canada. He received his B.Eng and M.Eng degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tianjin University in 2006 and 2008, respectively and PhD degree from School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. His research interests cover Computer Vision, Data Mining and Signal Processing, with special focus on practical applications. He has authored more than 40 publications. He’s leading a research team at Huawei and contributed to a number of high impact products.
