Biography

Mohsen Zadeh, P.Eng., P.E. is a technical and business development leader in the field of power systems and electrical engineering with extensive professional experience in the North American renewable energy industry. He is currently acting as Power Lead for North America at Jacobs. As part of this role, Mr. Zadeh is also responsible for growing Jacobs power transmission and systems studies within the North America business.

Prior to this role, Mr. Zadeh has worked for DNV on various capacities, most recently as offshore electrical lead/principal engineer, leading DNV’s electrical engineering services related to offshore wind. Other renewable energy projects included acting as the Electrical Engineer of Record (EoR) for the first utility-scale solar farm in western Canada in 2017, and leading interconnection application and IA process efforts for major developers, totaling over 40GW of solar, battery, and solar+battery projects primarily in MISO, TVA, SoCo, PJM and FPL territories.

Mr. Zadeh is an active member of multiple technical associations and committees including CIGRE and IEEE where he is the chair of Toronto chapter of Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society. Mr. Zadeh is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple Canadian and US states.
