Biography

Maryam holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary. She has been involved with IEEE Toronto Section since 2016 as an active member of the Industry Relations Committee where she planned and facilitated several events and seminars. Maryam is a member of Women in Renewable Energy (WIRE) and an active volunteer with City of Toronto Cultural Events. She is passionate about innovation, social entrepreneurship, sustainable development, and community engagement. Maryam is currently working as a Help Desk Agent at Survalent Technology. She previously worked as a Manufacturing Production Planner at 3G Lighting Inc. where she oversaw and managed projects to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
