Biography

Jigyesh Sharma (M’18, SM’22) received MS degree from Ontario Tech University. He was a research assistant at Ontario Tech University for developing and testing protection using a real-time digital simulator (RTDS). He has a decade of experience in power system studies and protection with utilities in Europe, America, and Asia. Currently, he is working as a lead engineer- system transient at General Electric Vernova. He is involved in major HVDC interconnection projects in Europe and the USA. He is an active IEEE member
representing the IEEE-PES R1-7 student chapter committee under the Student Young Professional (SYP).
