Abstract: RuggedCom designs and manufactures rugged communications networks for mission critical applications in harsh environments. RuggedCom is a “Center of Excellence” for Industrial Switches and Routers for harsh environments and critical infrastructure (based on IEC61850). Our products perform reliably in virtually all types of mission-critical networks – in substation automation, self-healing power grids and “smart grid” systems, in intelligent transportation systems for traffic management and railway control systems, as well as in process control and manufacturing automation systems used across multiple industrial sectors.
IEEE Toronto’s Industry Relations Committee and Power & Energy Chapter would like to thank Siemens RuggedCom for hosting this very successful tour and their amazing hospitality.
